Cases and Matters:

2001 Gateway Hotel Construction This project is hardly started, but already it is deeply mired in disputes between the general and various subcontractors.

2000 Nixon v. Benetton.  We represent writer Kenneth Shulman in Missouri's most significant First Amendment and Internet Law case.

1990 to 2000 United States v Doe  (Defense of primary target of $20 million dollar federal investigations into the failure of Germania Bank.  Defense included defense of 18 count mail fraud indictment charging $17 million dollar loss to victims. Defense also included defense of numerous parallel proceedings.)

1997 United States v Doe (defense of 36 count bank, mail and wire fraud indictment in Peoria, Illinois, charging losses of more than $6 million dollars)

1997 United States v. Doe (defense of 11 count bank and mail fraud indictment, against high profile St. Louis real estate developer)

1990 to date Numerous bank failures, including

First Exchange Bank, Missouri's largest bank failure

1984 Mason v. Kapp, Missouri's first successful RICO case, by a civil plaintiff.
